F10® ANTISEPTIC SOLUTION (CONCENTRATE), a clear liquid with a slight natural odour. Composition per 100ml - Benzalkonium Chloride 5.40g, non toxic ampholytic surfactants, sequesterants and water to balance. F10® ANTISEPTIC SOLUTION (RTU), composition per 100ml - Benzalkonium Chloride 0.022g, non toxic ampholytic surfactants, sequesterants and water to balance.

Nebulising, fogging, nasal and sinus flushing, wound irrigation, large volume lavage, and skin decontamination in pigeons, cage birds including birds of prey; terrarium animals and reptiles; small rodents (including hamsters, guinea pigs, mice, rats), rabbits, ferrets.

Use only as directed.

Using clean or distilled water prepare a solution of 1:250 of F10® Antiseptic Solution or use the F10® Antiseptic Solution (RTU). Administer topically using a nebuliser or fogger for 20 to 30 minutes at least twice daily.

To remove accumulated mucus and inflammatory material. Using normal saline prepare a solution of 1:250 of F10® Antiseptic Solution or use the F10® Antiseptic Solution (RTU). Restrain the animal with its head downwards to avoid aspiration and syringe the cavity as necessary.

F10® ANTISEPTIC SOLUTION (CONCENTRATE) available in HPE 100ml, 200ml, 1 litre and 5 litre bottles, F10® ANTISEPTIC SOLUTION (RTU) only available in 1 litre.

At the concentrations given this product has achieved a > log4-6 (10,000 to1,000,000 times) reduction in microbial counts against Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria; fungi and yeasts, enveloped and non-enveloped viruses, and spores.

Studies were carried out in accordance with the test requirements as specified by the EPA. Oral toxicity (rats) > 500,000mg/kg, category. IV. Dermal toxicity (rats) - > 1,250,000mg/kg, category, IV. Eye irritation (rabbits) - causes no eye irritation, category. IV. Dermal irritation (guinea pigs) - causes no dermal irritation, category. IV. Skin sensitization (guinea pigs) - no skin sensitization. Inhalation toxicity (rats) - LC50 value > 2mg/litre, category. IV.

A 35 day trial using day old broiler chicks restricted to treated drinking water (1:250 of F10SC) showed no residues in tissues of breast, thigh meat, liver or kidney.

Shelf life of an unopened pack is 4 years from the date of manufacture. Diluted solutions will remain stable for at least a 3 month period in an air tight container.
