Presentation

A blue coloured aerosol spray containing 10% w/w cetrimide BP.

Uses

An aid in the treatment of foot rot in sheep.

Dosage and administration

Pare the feet thoroughly of each infected sheep, see that only healthy horn remains. The removal of diseased horn may result in some bleeding, but this is unavoidable. Spray each prepared foot for one to two seconds and return the sheep to a dry pen.

Contra-indications, warnings, etc

Foot rot is highly contagious, treated sheep should not be returned to infected ground for at least a week, if this can possibly be avoided.

Withdrawal period for meat/milk – Nil.

Avoid spraying in or near the eyes.

For external use only.

For animal treatment only.

Protection of operators

Highly flammable.

Use in a well ventilated area.

Avoid inhaling spray mist.

Wash hands if accidentally sprayed.

Pressurised container, protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures above 50°C.

Do not pierce or burn even after use.

Do not spray on a naked flame or any incandescent material.

Do not smoke when using this product.

Environmental warnings

Empty container thoroughly and dispose of safely.

Pharmaceutical precautions

The expiry date of the product shall not be more than 24 months from the date of manufacture.
