Contra-indications, warnings, etc
Do not use in lactating cows. Do not use within 28 days of calving.
Withdrawal periods
Animals intended for human consumption should not be slaughtered until 28 days after the last treatment.
Milk for human consumption may only be taken from 120 hours after calving in cows with a dry period of more than 28 days.
Milk for human consumption may only be taken from 28 days plus 120 hours after the last treatment in cows with a dry period of 28 days or less, unless testing shows it to be free of antibiotic residue.
Operator warnings
Penicillins and cephalosporins may cause hypersensitivity (allergy) following injection, inhalation, ingestion or skin contact. Hypersensitivity to penicillins may lead to cross reactions to cephalosporins and vice versa. Allergic reactions to those substances may occasionally be serious.
1. Do not handle this product if you know you are sensitised, or if you have been advised not to work with such preparations.
2. Handle this product with great care to avoid exposure, taking all the recommended precautions.
3. If you develop symptoms following exposure such as skin rash, you should seek medical advice and show the doctor this warning. Swelling of the face, lips or eyes or difficulty with breathing are more serious symptoms and require urgent medical attention.
4. Wash hands after use.
Environmental warnings
Unused product and containers should be disposed of in accordance with any guidance from an appropriate waste regulation authority.
General precautions
The syringe may only be used once. Part used syringes must be discarded.
Keep out of reach of children.
