Dosage and administration
The dose of Troscan 100 for the routine treatment of puppies and adult dogs is 50 mg nitroscanate / kg bodyweight which is equivalent to 1 x 100 mg tablets per 2 kg (4.4 lb) of bodyweight. Puppies should be dosed at 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, 16 and 24 weeks. Adult dogs should be treated 2-4 times a year. Follow the dosage chart below:

Troscan tablets should be administered orally in the morning after overnight fasting with approximately one-fifth of the daily ration. The remaining food ration should be withheld for at least 8 hours. The tablets should be given whole. Tablets are film coated and should not be broken or divided.
