Elancoban G200:  Dosage and administration

Elancoban G200
Dosage and administration
Mix the appropriate quantity of Elancoban G200 to obtain the recommended levels of monensin, with 20–50 kg of a suitable feed component prior to incorporation into the bulk of the feed to be prepared.
Incorporate only as described below:
Broiler and layer replacement chickens
Elancoban G200 should be mixed thoroughly into broiler and layer replacement feeds at 500 g (0.5kg) or a level up to 625 g (0.625kg) per metric tonne. This will provide monensin equivalent to 100 g or concentrations up to 125 g monensin activity per metric tonne of complete feed (100ppm - 125ppm).
Broiler chickens
Feed containing Elancoban G200 should be fed continuously as the only ration until 1 day before slaughter for human consumption.
Layer replacement chickens
Feed containing Elancoban G200 should be fed continuously from day old up to a maximum of 16 weeks of age.
Turkeys for fattening
It is recommended that 300 g (0.3kg) to 500 g (0.5kg) of Elancoban G200 be thoroughly mixed in one metric tonne of complete turkey feed. This will provide monensin equivalent to 60 to 100 g activity per metric tonne of feed (60ppm - 100ppm). Feed containing Elancoban G200 should be fed continuously as the only ration from day old up to 1 day before slaughter for human consumption, to a maximum of 16 weeks of age.
