Contra-indications, warnings, etc
Not to be administered to male animals. Not to be administered to pregnant sows or to those suffering from uterine infection. Part-consumed feed must be disposed of with other waste feed and not given to any other animal. Ensure the correct dose is administered daily as under-dosing can lead to the formation of cystic follicles.
Operator warnings
Impervious gloves and suitable protective overalls must be worn when handling Regumate. Wash after using the product and before meals. Care must be taken to avoid any contact between the product and women of child-bearing age. It is recommended that such women should not be associated with the use of this product. Keep out of reach of children. For animal treatment only.
Overdose
No special precautions required. Doses of 20 times the recommended dose did not affect the pigs nor their off-spring.
Withdrawal period
Animals must not be slaughtered for human consumption during treatment. Pigs may be slaughtered for human consumption only after 24 days from the last treatment.
Disposal
Partly used and empty containers should be disposed of in accordance with any guidance from an appropriate waste regulation authority.
