Contra-indications, warnings, etc
For animal treatment only. Keep out of the reach of children. Clinical antagonism may occur between lincomycin and erythromycin due to competitive binding at the ribosomal site of action. This antibiotic is not effective against Gram-negative aerobic organisms, Enterococcus faecalis or yeasts. Not recommended in species other than the cat and the dog. Loose stools have been observed occasionally in animals on high oral dosage but will usually self-correct without discontinuing medication. If the problem worsens, discontinue treatment.
