A brown, free-flowing, granular meal for incorporation in animal feedingstuffs containing 200 g monensin activity per kg.

Composition:

For use in feeds for broiler and layer replacement chickens and turkeys for fattening only.

Broiler and layer replacement chickens: As an aid in the prevention of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria necatrix, E. tenella, E. acervulina, E. brunetti and E. maxima.

Turkeys for fattening: As an aid in the prevention of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria adenoides, E. gallopavonis, E. meleagrimitis.

The additive shall be incorporated in feed in the form of a PREMIXTURE.

When used as recommended this product should only be incorporated by Non-farm mixers.

The product can be incorporated into pelleted feed, preconditioned with steam at a temperature of 118oC at a pressure of 34 bar.

The dose range levels may be obtained by incorporating the following amounts of ELANCOBAN G 200 in one metric tonne of feed:

Broilers: Feed containing ELANCOBAN G 200 at levels of 100-125 ppm monensin activity should be fed continuously as the only ration from one day old until 1 day before slaughter for human consumption.

Layer replacements: Feed containing ELANCOBAN G 200 at levels of 100-120 ppm monensin activity should be fed continuously as the only ration from one day old up to a maximum of 16 weeks of age.

Turkeys for fattening: Feed containing ELANCOBAN G 200 at a level of 60-100 ppm monensin activity should be fed continuously as the only ration from one day old up to 1 day before slaughter for human consumption, to a maximum of 16 weeks of age.

Dangerous for equines.

This feedingstuff contains an ionophore: avoid simultaneous administration with tiamulin and monitor for possible adverse reactions when used concurrently with other medicinal substances.

Use prohibited at least one day before slaughter.

Animals including birds should not be treated with products containing tiamulin while receiving, or for at least 7 days before or after receiving, feed containing ELANCOBAN G 200. Severe growth depression or death may occur.

This product must not be mixed or used simultaneously with another coccidiostat.

Harmful if swallowed. Causes serious eye damage. May cause allergy or asthma symptoms or breathing difficulties if inhaled. May cause damage to organs (Muscle, Heart) through prolonged or repeated exposure. Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Avoid breathing dust. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. Wear respiratory protection.

IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing.

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor.

Dispose of contents/container in accordance with national regulations.

Store in a cool dry place. For shelf life see expiry date on label.

The product is stable in finished feed, including pelleted feed to up to 3 months.
